She currently works for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT) as a Communication Analyst. 
Radia completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Jahangirnagar University's Department of Anthropology. 
Gender Studies and Sociological Communication are her areas of academic interest.
